5 Worst Bollywood Movies Of Recent Times

Apart from a few good flicks like Gangs of Wasseypur and A Wednesday, Bollywood has always given me garbage. And on some occasions – it’s given me even worse. Here’s a list of some of the most unforgivably bad movies of Bollywood.

5-Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna kank

A three and a half hours of torture, this movie is a total waste of good star-cast. With such talented souls in the movie, Karan Johar could’ve definitely come up with something sensible and entertaining at the same time. Compared to Karan Johar’s previous flicks Kuch kuch hota hai and Kal Ho Na Ho, this movie had nothing to offer except for the good costumes and glamorous and fancy lifestyle show of the characters. With some irrelevant sequences, the never-ending story could not keep the audience hooked through the movie. An expected climax, was yet another put down.

4-Bodyguard bodyguard

Salman Khan, Action Movie, Eid release- probably the best combo Bollywood could provide you with. However, with Bodyguard, this was not the case. Despite the hype, the movie could not live up to the expectations of the audience. It would better be defined as a movie which needed you to leave your brains and logical self away while you watch it. A common story line with some over-dramatic songs and overdone-action sequences literally made me want to bang my head against the wall. By the end of the movie, all one could do is feel bad for the current state of Indian cinema.

3-Saawariya saawariya

While this over-hyped movie with Rishi Kapoor’s Son and Anil Kapoor’s daughter making their debut was able to draw audience to the theatres, it definitely succeeded in disappointing the viewers. With a stupid story, undesired cinematography and set of completely not-making-sense costumes, this movie was nothing but a big time failure. It left people wondering how an established and sensible director like Sanjay LeelaBhansali could come up with something so non-sense.

2-Love Story 2050 lovestory2050

The movie was so pathetic that the ardent sci-fi lover in me couldn’t notice the much-hyped (but competent) special effects. With Priyanka Chopra at her worst with Hritik-look-alike co-actor struggling to act, this was nothing short of a bad attempt at science fiction. The other problem was the story or the lack of it.

1-Ra-one raone

The high-budget flick, with the promise of being one of its kind, certainly proved itself right- Indians definitely had not seen something THIS BAD before!

What a colossal waste of money!

The movie, as if, was meant to make you lose faith in superhero movies. The “Badshah”certainly did not deliver what was expected of him and once again proved that all he can do is romance on-screen. Special effects and action- that is all the movie had in store for the viewers. With a complete lack of story, here it is making its way to one of the worst Bollywood movies ever.

5 Things You Didn’t Know About Leonardo DiCaprio

Did you know The Dark Knight was going to feature the Riddler instead of Bane as the villain initially? Did you know that Leonardo DiCaprio was rumoured to be portraying the Riddler too? We’ve loved him in Titanic, and in Shutter Island, and in Inception, and in every other movie we’ve seen of him. But there’s a lot you may not about the brilliant actor. Here’s 5 Things you didn’t know about Leonardo:

Environmentalist main

While the fact that DiCaprio is one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood is not hidden from anyone, a few might know that that the talented actor is as much an environmentalist. He is known to be making consistent efforts and doing his bit to save the environment. Like a committed environmentalist, he has his home installed with solar panels, owns and drives environment friendly cars like Electric Tesla Roadster and Toyota Prius. As if this wasn’t enough to prove his love for environment, he even made a documentary called “The 11th Hour”which depicts the present day climatic changes and its impact on the environment. Not just this, he also started the “Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation” for the protection of wildlife.

Well, hats-off Leonardo!

Battled Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for a major part of his life OCD

You read that right. Leonardo suffered from a personality disorder called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). As a child he used to have this random urge to walk through the doorways and used to avoid stepping on cracks. Also, he would step on every chewing gum stain he saw while walking. Over time he got over this OCD, but, while he was shooting for his film “The Aviator” where he played an OCD-plagued person, he could feel his OCD return back in bits.

“Sometimes, you know, it would take me awhile to get to set. And I would have to be doing things in my trailer. And it literally drove me nuts a lot of the time. It lasted for a couple months after filming and still is—there’s trail of it here and there”, admits the actor.

Was offered the role of a porn-star

While this may come as shocking news to Leonardo’s fans, it’s true that the successful actor with millions of fans around the globe was once offered to play a porn-star in a movie called “Boogie Nights”. At the same time he was offered “Titanic”.

Obviously, he chose Titanic and the rest is history.

The porn-star role was later taken up by Mark Wahlberg.

Leonardo was named after Leonardo Da Vinci da vinci

All of us have noticed the that he shares his name with thefamous painter Leonardo Da Vinci. In fact, he really was named after him. The reason this name occurred to his motherwas that while she was carrying him, she felt him kickher stomach for the first time in front of one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s paintings in a museum.

It was then decided that the baby would be named after him.

He’s never received an Oscar no oscar

Despite the well-established actor self that he is, and the large number of good movies he has given to the world, Leonardo has never been able to bag an Oscar. Though he had been nominated in Oscar thrice-Best Actor for the movies “The Aviator” and “Blood Diamond” and Best Supporting Actor for “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?” he was never awarded an Oscar.

5 Signs You’re a Shopaholic

Shopping is something all of us indulge in. However, there are two categories of shoppers. One-People who shop only when required. And the second category – Shopaholics – people who love to shop. Whether necessary or not, all they want to do is shop. Shopping, as if is the sole purpose of their lives. Here’s 5 symptoms you’re one from the second category:

1-You find shopping irresistible 1

If a mere look at thathot new collection of clothes and accessories in your favourite brand storegives your body a sudden adrenaline rush. If it makes you all high and crazy and it becomes totally impossible for you to resist spending your cash on them -then you probably are a member of the shopaholic community.

You already start imagining yourself in those clothes or with those accessories on. This not only makes you even more excited but also desperate to the point you don’t evenbother to have a look at the price tag and all you want to do is shop, shop and shop-NO MATTER WHAT!

2- Saving is not your cup of tea 2

Money and Wallet- two things that are supposed to be together. But that’s not the case with you, is it?

If you want cash to be spent the moment it enters your wallet – you’re a shopaholic. You are absolutely incapable of putting some money in for your savings. Saving is SIMPLY NOT your thing and even if you have important investments to make you prefer spending on the not-so-essential items – simply because they make you happy.

3-Shopping lightens up your mood like nothing else 3

Say you had a busy day full of engaging activities at your workplace – you’re left with a heavy head burdened with stress. Is shopping the only escape you can think of? You’ve got to admit – you are a shopaholic! A big time shopaholic!

Shopping takes your mind to an altogether different worldof dreams where life is happy and beautiful- it helps you attain mental peace like nothing else on this planet.

I know that feel bro!

4-You can’t keep an account of the stuff you buy 4

One fine day while setting up your closet, if you find stuff you didn’t even remember – or stuff which you have never used (maybe kept with their price tag on) – you surely are a shopaholic. You definitely indulge in shopping which is just not required and buy stuff just because it pleases you.

5- You indulge in impulsive shopping 5

Impulse-ridden shopping is one of the common traits observed in shopaholics.

You went to hang out with your friends or went for a movie show with absolutely no plans of shopping, but out of nowhere you have this intense urge to shop like crazy and you end up emptying half your wallet. If you identify with it then there is no doubt – you’re one hell of a shopaholic.

What if Inception Was Made in India?

Christopher Nolan dazzled us (and our minds) with Inception when it released in 2010. While the complexity of the plot was orgasmic to some, it was overly difficult to understand for many others. In fact, that’s a major reason we’ll probably never see a similar movie from Bollywood for a long time.

But what if we did? What if we did get an Indian Inception? I don’t know how much they’d dumb down the plot – but I have a fair idea of who all would make a great cast. Here’s my ideal cast for a hypothetical Indian Inception:

Cobb – Aamir Khan cobb-aamirkhan

Who else but Aamir Khan would suit this role best? The actor has already portrayed a mentally disturbed personality in a previous film. He’d do Cobb justice, no doubt.

Mall – Kangana Ranaut mal-kangana

Aside from the strong physical resemblance, Kangana also happens to be a perfect choice for a semi-psycho wife.

Arthur – Farhan Akhtar arthur-farhanakhtar

All Arthur does in Inception (apart from defying gravity) is explain the plot to us confused viewers. Farhan Akhtar, with his intelligent reputation, would do a good job at it for the Indians.

Eames – Akshay Kumar eames-akshaykumar

Eames comes across as a sarcastic and witty man – someone Akshay Kumar is known to be.

Robert – Ranbir Kapoor robert-ranbir

Rich, suave, and confused –RanbirKappor.

Saito – Saif Ali Khan saito-saif

Whether it’s getting murder charges dropped for a fugitive, or buying an entire airline – Saito can get things done. Saif Ali Khan can pull off that powerful persona.

Ariadne – Dia Mirza ariadne-diya

There really is no one else who can look young enough to be a student.

Yusuf – Arjun Rampal yusuf-arjun

The hair. Enough said.
